A computer programmer-analyst plans and develops computerized systems for business applications and improves computer systems currently being used. A data center manager is responsible for operating the computer center. A computer consultant performs a number of tasks including analysis of hardware and software requirements and design of applications.
According to a recent national College Placement Council salary survey, bachelor's degree graduates in information systems start at an average salary of $28,000. This is a national average and our area may be slightly lower. Salaries differ based on the type of business.
